Good morning ladies. Today I am grateful. Grateful for being here, for your organization giving me a chance to grow and be with my child. I just wanted to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart and tell you I appreciate everything that you've done for me and what you will do for me.
The DLBC team allowed me to find my true self again and reconnect with my children. We are given support and tools — especially a safe home to live in during the process. I cannot thank you enough for a new beginning.
I moved to Colorado from Florida after being released from prison. I am overwhelmed with how DLBC embraces trans-sisters. I have never lived or been in a program that allows us to be our authentic self and has a home specifically for trans girls.
Don't ever think you're not even in the midst of everything and nobody is getting what you are saying or trying to do. The one that carries the most away is you. Random acts of kindness like you showed me are the most fruitful to our souls. See when you started this venture you said: 'I just want to help one person.' Now look — mission accomplished.

Our First Colorado Gives Day
Colorado Gives Day has evolved into the biggest 24-hour giving movement in the state, bringing in over $415 million since its inception in 2010. In 2023, The Don't Look Back Center participated for the first time — raising over $2,000 for our agency. Thank you to everyone who helped make it a success.
